The Kent City boys basketball team tallied four players in double figures and cruised past Lakeview in a 68-23 rout on Friday evening.

The defense came out strong for the Eagles in the second half, holding Lakeview to only four points in both the third and fourth quarters.

Racking up scores for the Eagles was Kyler Larson with 17 points while Jaret Jaramillo and Hayden Carlson each added 13 points apiece. Seth Vanderwest also threw in 10 points for the Eagles in the win.

Kent City soars to a perfect 5-0 in the CSAA-Silver and 8-3 on the season. The Eagles are set to host Sparta on Tuesday to continue the league season.
