LUDINGTON — Every player scored as the Ludington girls basketball team blitzed Muskegon Orchard View, 68-13 in Monday night’s makeup game from last Friday’s snowed out Lakes 8 Activities Conference contest.

The Orioles won their second straight game, and bumped their season record over the .500 mark at 5-4 while improving their conference mark to 2-1. OV is now 1-6 and 0-3, respectively.

“I was happy with our defensive intensity,” Ludington coach Warren Stowe said. “I was happy with our unselfishness on offense.”

Ludington had a 29-3 lead at the end of the first quarter, and outscored the Cardinals, 23-4 in the second to build a 52-7 lead at the half.
