The Oakridge girls basketball team used a strong first half to put away North Muskegon on Tuesday winning 47-34.

Taking off quick the Eagles outscored the Norse 12-5 In the first quarter and 15-6 in the second quarter to put them up 27-11 at the half. Coming into the second half the Norse began to chip away at the lead but the Eagles stayed one step ahead.

Anna Lundquist posted a double-double scoring 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to lead Oakridge. Destyni Lane had 13 points, four rebounds and four assists and Jasmine Pastor tossed in 10 points.

Eagles Kaelinn Jozsa pulled down seven rebounds on the night.

Oakridge improves to 2-5 on the season and 1-3 in the WMC and will be hosting Hart on Friday night.

North Muskegon drops to 1-6 and will travel to Mason County Central on Friday.
