A 20 point effort by Kyle Beebe wasn’t enough for the Ravenna boys basketball team to notch a win on Tuesday night as they fell to Potter’s House 58-40.

The Bulldogs came out strong and held a one point lead over the Pumas with a score of 8-7 after the first quarter, but that was the last time Ravenna would be out front as Potter’s House took off on 17-8 point run to bring the score to 24-16 at halftime.

Nothing the Bulldogs did after the break helped push them out front and they continued to stray behind in the second half getting outscored 34-24.

On top of the scoring Beebe recorded a double-double adding 11 rebounds and six steals to go with his 20 points. Travis May posted seven points, five rebounds and two steals.

Carter Schullo was strong at the boards for the Bulldogs pulling down eight rebounds.

Ravenna drops to 4-3 on the season and will play host to Mason County Central on Thursday in Western Michigan Conference action.
