MUSKEGON — Mason County Central’s boys bowling team gave Orchard View a run for its money in Monday night’s match at the Northway Lanes in Muskegon, losing by an 18-12 margin.

The Spartans’ high games were record by Kurtis Basler, who rolled a 205, and Riley Priemer, who rolled a 143, and Jonathan Smith, who rolled a 243.

For the Cardinals, it was Konner Maus clicking off games of 174 and 211, while River Creed had a hot hand with a 184 and Jeremy Broughton rolled a 317.

Mason County Central’s girls team dropped their match, 29-1. Haley Story rolled a high game of 107, and finished with the high series of 200.

Next on the schedule for the Spartan bowlers is a match at Spartan West on Monday, Jan. 24.
