HART–Outscoring Hart 50-19 over three quarters the Ravenna boys basketball team pulled out a dominating 56-32 West Michigan Conference win on Friday night.

Building a strong lead early, the Bulldogs went up 19-10 at the end of the first quarter and stretched their lead even further as they continued to pummel the Pirates on both sides of the ball pushing the deficit to 21 points with the score 40-19 at the half.

The Bulldogs overwhelmed the Pirates immediately out of the halftime break completely shutting down their offense with a 10-0 scoring run in the third quarter to add to their lead bringing the score to 50-19 going into the fourth quarter.

The Bulldogs were led by Kyle Beebe who posted a game high 22 points while pulling down six rebounds. Grant Becklin did his part tossing in 13 points, grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out five assists while Carter Schullo scored 12 points and had four rebounds.

Also chipping in for the Bulldogs was Travis May who scored seven points, grabbed seven rebounds, snagged five steals and made four assists.

The Pirates were led by Wyatt Dean who threw in six points while Parker Hovey and Diego Escamilla each added five points a piece.

Ravenna climbs to 8-4 for the season and 7-2 in the WMC. The Bulldogs will host Muskegon Catholic Central on Tuesday in non-league action.

Hart falls to 4-7 with a 2-7 WMC record and is set for non-conference action on Monday when they visit the Hesperia Panthers.
