MUSKEGON–The Fruitport bowling team bounced back from their loss against Zeeland East with a 2-0 sweep of their own over Coopersville at Northway Lanes on Wednesday evening.

Earning an easy 25-5 win over the Broncos the boys threw some solid baker games to ensure the win with Jray Conklin leading the way with a high game of 212 while Brandon Krohn and Mike Hanson added in games of 189 and 165 respectively.

The girls squad found a bit more resistance as they split the baker games with Broncos but won the overall total pin fall in the regular games to capture the 17-13 win.

Capping off the night with another solid showing, Brynna Hanson led for the girls with games of 215 and 207. Also for the Trojans was Payten McGlaughlin who threw a game of 150 and Raegan Dykstra who added a 144.

Fruitport will be back at Northway on Monday when they host the Mona Shores Sailors.
