The Fruitport Calvary Christian boys basketball team struggled at home to a bigger and stronger Potter’s House on Tuesday evening, falling 71-50 in Alliance League action.

The Eagles trailed the entire game as Potter’s House pulled away quarter after quarter, draining 15 3-point shots on the night.

“Disappointing night for us,” said Calvary Christian head coach Brad Richards. “They are a team loaded with athletes and basketball players and they beat us in every phase of the game. Give them credit.”

Despite the loss, the Eagle’s Jacob May had another solid night as he knocked in 14 points while Bradley Richards added 12 points and Ethan Cammenga threw in 10 points.

Calvary Christian drops to 11-5 on the season and 4-3 in the conference. The Eagles are back to action on Monday as they host the Hart Pirates in a non-league tilt.
