MUSKEGON — Catholic Central lost its second straight game, dropping a 66-61 Lakes 8 Activities Conference contest to Heights at the Tigers’ lair Tuesday night in a makeup game.

The Crusaders took a 17-15 lead at the end of the first quarter, but then saw the Tigers rally to take a 35-34 edge at the half with a 20-17 edge in the second period.

Heights outscored the Crusaders, 15-13 in the third period and held a narrow three-point edge, 50-47 going into the third quarter.

Catholic Central was led by Sara Albanese with 20 points, while Erin LaVigne and McKenna Gentry contributed 10 apiece.

The Crusaders saw their record drop to 8-8 overall and 4-4 in the conference. Catholic Central is next scheduled to see action Friday when it travels to Ludington for another league game.

Heights picked up its third straight win and improved its record to 5-6 overall and 5-3 m the Lakes 8. The Lady Tigers are next scheduled to play on Friday at Manistee in the Lakes 8.
