MUSKEGON — Oakridge girls basketball team rallied from a terrible first quarter to upend Ravenna, 33-22 in a West Michigan Conference home game Friday night.

Ravenna outscored Oakridge, 7-0 in the first quarter. Oakridge rebounded to outscore the Bulldogs, 11-7 in the second period to trail only 18-11 at the half.

Oakridge put the defensive pressure on the Bulldogs in the third quarter and enjoyed an 8-1 advantage which pulled the Eagles even with the Bulldogs, 19-19 going into the fourth quarter. The Eagles outscored the Bulldogs, 14-7 in the final period.

Anna Lundquist had a big night for the Eagles, scoring 17 points, hauling down 14 rebounds and blocking three shots. Destyni Lane added four points, two steals, five rebounds and three assists.

The Eagles raised their record to 4-11 overall and 3-7 in the WMC. Oakridge is next scheduled to host Whitehall in the conference on Friday, Feb. 11.
