Orchard View Wrestling dominates against MCC, Manistee and Ludington at Lakes 8 post-season tourney

Orchard View wrestling dominated at Saturday’s Lakes 8 post-season tourney hosted by Muskegon Catholic Central.

The Cardinals battled with Manistee, MCC and Ludington and captured seven individual titles on its way to win the team competition.

Muskegon Catholic took second place with four individual winners in front of Manistee and Ludington.

OV was highlighted by first-place finishes from Corbin Russell (119), Jayden Fulwider (125), Jacob Peterman (130), Alex Gasior (135), Caleb Timney (140), Adrew Filipiak (145), and Bryce Benard (215)

MCC was led by Max MacCumber (112), David Hill (152), Easten Cook (160), and Zach Michael (189).

Manistee posted two winners in Ava Pike (103) and Hunter Cameron (171).

Nikolai Kehrer (285) took Ludington’s lone first-place finish.
