HOWELL–Grand Haven brought home an individual regional champion as senior Dayne Arnett battled his way through the 215-pound bracket in the Division 1 regional at Howell Saturday for the title, defeating Andrew VanDyke of West Ottawa by a pin in 1:04. He improved his record to 38-5.

The Buccaneers are also sending four others to Ford Field in Detroit next month as senior Aidan Pike was fourth at 119 and improved to 37-6 for the year, while junior Logan Vining took fourth at 125 and moved to 22-6.

Buccaneer freshman Xzavier Rodriguez finished fourth at 140 and improved to 32-13 and junior Bode Wilson placed fourth at 145 and is 31-13 on the season.

Mona Shores junior Gavyn Stout earned a runnerup finish at 145 pounds and improved to 40-4 for the season, while senior Jake Moll was fourth at 160 and bumped his record up to 35-12.
