Beebe has a game high 16 points as Ravenna runs past Chippewa Hills 46-21

RAVENNA – Ravenna’s varsity boys basketball team’s defense was downright stingy against visiting Chippewa Hills on Thursday.

The Bulldogs limited the Warriors to a dismal 18 percent shooting night in their 46-21 victory.

Ravenna senior guard Kyle Beebe was the game’s only scorer in double figures, as he scored 16 to go along with five rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Grant Becklin added nine points, three rebounds and three steals, while Travis May had five points, five rebounds and five assists.

Ravenna finishes its regular season with a 13-6 record. The Bulldogs will now turn their attention to next week’s district tournament at White Cloud. Ravenna received a first-round bye and will face the winner of Kent City and Lakeview on Wednesday.
