FREMONT– The Fremont Packers girls soccer team posted a 4-1 victory over visiting Comstock Park on Monday.

The match was played in chilly conditions with the temperatures hovering in the mid-30s.

The visiting Panthers scored the first goal of the match near the mid-point of the opening half when Alex Ellsworth scored with assistance from Melina Becker. That was the only goal of the opening half.

The Packers’ second-half adjustments paid off just 8 minutes after the break. Lili Isak scored with assist to Lyllian Craig and the game was knotted at 1-all.

Mia Clemence put Fremont up for good on a corner kick goal.

Mia Witte added two insurance goals later in the half. Isak assisted one one of those goals.

Fremont outshot Comstock Park 9-5. Fremont keeper Macy Powers made three saves in net while Comstock Park’s Jaqueline Nava made five saves.

Fremont moves to 2-1 overall and the Panthers fell to 0-1.
