MUSKEGON–The Rockets knocked down 10 three pointers over the Lakers zone in the 53-48 win on Friday evening in a non-conference battle.

The Rockets had a sizeable lead throughout the first half, 18-11 at the end of the first quarter and 28-18 at halftime. The third quarter was evenly played by both squads as the lead remained at ten, 41-31.

Clyde Bartee finished with 11 points for the Rockets including three triples. Jaxon Whitaker and Kyle Schlaff each contributed with 10 points. Logan Brooks added six points and five rebounds. Travis Ambrose was the defensive anchor for the Rockets tallying 7 points and four blocks.

Spring Lake was led by Evan McDermott with 12 points. Porter Saunders had an additional 11 points for the Lakers.

Reeths-Puffer finishes the regular season 13-7 overall and 9-5 in the OK Green. The Rockets will host Grand Haven on Monday at 7 p.m. in the opening round of district action.

Spring Lake finishes 8-12 and 5-9 in the OK Blue. The Lakers host their District as well with a first round matchup against Orchard View on Monday.
