The Rockets toppled Coopersville in the district quarterfinals with a 59-28 victory on Monday evening.

Reeths-Puffer led from start to finish as they ended the first quarter with a 17-8 opening lead. The Rockets continued to cruise leading 26-14 at halftime. During the third quarter, the flood gates opened as they increased their margin 50-18.

Brooklyn Tornes posted an impressive stat line with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and eight steals. Sophia Hekkema added 16 points, seven rebounds, and five steals. Ariel Walker scored 14 points while Arrionna Williams provided strong defense with seven steals of her own.

Coopersville was led by Maddi Miller with nine points and three rebounds. Catelyn Chapin provided six points. Mya Maycroft and Dannyka Johnson each put up five points while Maycroft had six rebounds and Johnson had five rebounds.

The Rockets improve to 15-5 on the season and move on to face Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills on Wednesday at 7pm in the district semifinals.

Coopersville finishes the season with a record of 3-18.
