MUSKEGON –Tuesday afternoon Reeths-Puffer hosted the first boy’s OK-Green Conference Jamboree of the 2022 track and field season. 

Reeths-Puffer defeated Grand Rapids Union 95-37 and Muskegon 69-59. The Rockets fell for Zeeland East 104-33.

Listed below are the results of top five finishers in events from Reeths-Puffer and Muskegon.

Destin Piggee of Muskegon won both the 100 meters (11.52 seconds) and the 200 meters (22.93 seconds) to lead the Big Reds effort.

Other individual first places for the Big Reds were recorded by CJ Ivy III in the 100 (11.89 seconds) and Da’Shaun Oakes-Wallce in the 200 (23.23).

Muskegon also won the 400 relay as Wanyai Johnson, Piggee, Jacob Price and Damari Foster clocked a 44.53 seconds and the 800 relay with Amariyon Glover, Terrance Davis Jr., Kingston Blackman and Michael Piggee Jr. timed 1:37.46.

Klay Grant of Reeths-Puffer won both the 800 (2:07.19) and the 1600 (4:31.94). Also for the Rockets Liam McHugh won the high jump (6 feet).

Recording second places for the Big Reds were Adrian Rankin Jr. in the 100 (12.27 seconds), Michael Piggee Jr. in the 200 (23.47), Wanyai Johnson in the 200 (24.46), Jacob Price finished second in the long jump (18 feet .25 inches).

Also for the Big Reds, Da’Carion Taylor finished third in the 300 hurdles (46.49. Alyjuuan Paris was fifth for the Big Reds in the 400 (56.56), Karl Brooks was fifth in the shot put (39 feet 11 inches), Terrance Davis Jr. took third in the high jump (5 feet 8 inches)

Jaxon Allen took second for the Rockets in the 3200 (9:58.71).

Kaden Malotke was third for the Rockets in the 400 (55.49), Tate Bradley was third in the 800 (2:22.41), Parker Lindstrom in the 110 hurdles (18.58)

Also for the Rockets, Da’Shaun Oakes-Wallce finished fourth in the 100 (12.47), Amariyon Glover took fourth in the 200 (25.00), Kyle Grant in the 400 (55.59)

Fifth places for the Big Reds were taken by Foster in the 100 (12.12), Brant Brooks in the 100 (12.58), Ivy III in the 200 (24.03).

Third places for the Rockets were recorded by Jaceion Riley in the 100 (11.78 seconds), Clyde Bartee in the 100 (12.39). Patrick Sweet was fifth in the discus (117 feet 6 inches), Antrel Jones finished fifth in the high jump (5 feet 4 inches), Brooks Johnson was third in the pole vault (9 feet 6 inches).
