SPRING LAKE — Spring Lake’s softball team extended its winning streak to four straight games with an OK Conference doubleheader sweep of visiting Holland Christian on Tuesday afternoon in Spring Lake, 9-3 and 12-2.

In the first game Avery Flynn, who was the winning pitcher with 13 strike outs, led the offense with a 3-for-4 performance at the plate. Kendra Kieft went 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, and Tegan Rose stroked a bases clearing triple.

Flynn again was in the circle for Game 2, and rang up eight strike outs. Alexa Carter finished 2-for-3 to lead the Lakes’ offense, while Avery Britt went 2-for-4. Kieft had two more stolen bases.

The Lakers improved to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
