MUSKEGON–It was a windy and cold day, but that did not affect the Fremont girl’s effort or attitude at Friday’s Rocket Invitational held at Reeths-Puffer high school.

The Invite was spilt into two divisions with Fremont competing in the White Division along with Manistee, Benzie Central, Ludington, Saugatuck, Fruitport, Holton, and Muskegon Orchard View. The girls finished 4th with 71 points not far behind Ludington with 86 points.

Medal winners were:

Kennedy Christoffersen (Sr) 1st in the 100 Hurdles 17.20, 4th in the 100 Meter 14.21, 4th in Long Jump 14’10.5”

Lauren O’Malley (So) 2nd in the 100 hurdles 18.67, 4th in the 300 Hurdles 58.04

Avery Christoffersen (So) 4th in the 100 Hurdles 19.40, 6th in the 300 Hurdles 58.28

Victoria Ekkel (So) 3rd in the 100 Meter 13.79, 4th in the 200 Meter 29.21,

Olivia Stroven (Fr) 4th in the 400 Meter 1:11.94

Erica Maddox (Sr) 5th in the 400 Meter 1:13.65, 4th in High Jump 4’6”

Justina Reimerova (Sr) 5th in Long Jump 14’04.75”

4×100 Relay team (Victoria Ekkel, Rachel Maddox (Fr), Justina Reimerova, and Kennedy Christoffersen) finished 1st with a PR time of 54.71
