FRUITPORT — Fruitport’s girls softball team out-hit the Tri-County Vikings, 7-2 and rolled to an easy 17-0 blow out over visiting Tri-County on Thursday.

The Trojans exploded for nine runs in the bottom of the first inning, and never looked back. Fruitport scored eight more runs in the second, and the game was ended after the Vikings batted in the top of the third.

No one had more than one hit for the Trojans. Rylee Lusk finished with four runs batted in and a run batted in, Maddie Kohnke had a double and three RBI and two runs scored.

Teagan Schulz had a double, two RBI and two runs scored. Maggie Dahl had one RBI and a run scored and Brylee Dewitt had one hit, one RBI and a run scored.

Olive Staal had a hit and two runs scored, Mylee Mineni had one hit and two runs scored, Ashton Olson had one RBI and two runs scored with two walks, Payten McLaughlin walked twice and scored two runs and Sabi Miel had one hit and a run scored.

In three innings pitched, Riley Zwar gave up just two hits while striking out five and walking one.
