BIG RAPIDS — Oakridge’s girls softball team swept a non-conference doubleheader from Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart, 10-0 and 7-1 at Ferris State University’s complex in Big Rapids on Saturday.

In game one, Brooklyn Galdeen was the winning pitcher. She gave up just four hits and one walk while striking out nine in six innings.

Leading hitters for the Eagles were Delaney Ruel who had three singles, Galdeen had a single and a double, Jasmine Pastor finished with two doubles and two runs batted in and Kaselinn Jozsa had a double, a single and two RBI.

Jozsa was in the circle for the second game, and went 4 2/3 innings and gave up no hits with four strike outs and six walks. Kylee Willea earned the save with 2 2/3 innings of relief and struck out six while giving up one hit.

Madison Clark had two singles and two RBI, Pastor had a double, Ruel had a single and one RBI and Jozsa had a double and one RBI.

The Eagles improved to 7-0 for the season.
