NEWAYGO — Ravenna’s girls softball team won both ends of a doubleheader Tuesday over Newaygo, winning the first game 10-0 in five innings and taking a 13-6 win in the nightcap.

Emma Herremans was in the circle for the Bulldogs in the first game and was credited with the win, giving up just two hits and walking only two while striking out seven.

Leading the Bulldogs at the plate was Maddie Kilbourne who went 2-for-3. Herremans and Amelia Porter each had a double, while Emma Gillard and Kara Postema each had a single.

In the second game, Addison Gillard was the winning pitcher for the Bulldogs with six strong innings allowing two runs on five hits and striking out six.

Emma Gillard pitched the seventh, giving up four runs on two hits, walked three and struck out three.
