HESPERIA — Hesperia’s girls softball team managed to outscore Morley-Stanwood to sweep a pair of games, 20-14 and 17-9 at home Tuesday afternoon.
Adriana Slater finished the first game as the Panthers’ leading hitter, knocking out three safeties, including a home run with three runs batted in and three runs scored.
Allie Townsend also had three hits with two triples and a double with two runs scored. Triniti Tanner knocked out three hits with a double and scored three runs.
Emma Joppich earned the win with six innings of work in the circle.
In the second game, Emmi Tinkham had three hits with a grand slam homer, a double, six RBI and three runs scored. Joppich rapped out two hits and scored three runs and Townsend finished with two hits, one RBI and scored two runs.
Kaity Skok was the winning pitcher.
