MUSKEGON — Mona Shores’s baseball team shut out Grand Rapids Union, 10-0 at home on Thursday afternoon to complete a sweep of the three-game OK Green Conference series.

Jason Anderson took the bump for the Sailors and spun a masterful no-hitter, striking out seven and only issuing two free passes.

Offensively the Sailors were paced by the middle of their lineup in seniors Diego Pena who had two hits and three runs batted in, Aaron Piasecki who also had two hits and drove in two with three runs scored and Anderson helped his own cause with two hits and had two RBIs.

The Sailors improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the conference, and are next scheduled to see action at home against Grand Haven on Saturday in a doubleheader starting at 10 a.m.
