JACKSON—The Muskegon Community College Jayhawks golf team traveled to Jackson on Friday to compete in the Jackson College Golf Invitational held at Ella Sharp Park Golf Course.
The Jayhawks finished in fourth place with a team score of 302.
Other team scores included Mott Community College who took top honors shooting a low score of 295. They were followed by Oakland (296) and Grand Rapids Community Collage who also shot a 296. St. Clair College finished fifth (314) and Glen Oaks shot (316)
Jayhawk Zach Petroski took top individual honors with a round of 79.
Other Jayhawk individuals scores for the day included Cody Petroski (76), Steve Cullen (79), and Andrew Taylor along with Ty Chamberlain who both shot a round of 80.
The Jayhawks will hit the course on Monday, April 25 when they travel to Grand Rapids Community College. Tee time is set for 10am at Egypt Valley Country Club.
