LUDINGTON — Ludington’s girls softball team hosted a tournamnet Saturday at Oriole Field, losing to Hesperia 9-4 and Benzie Central 15-0.
In game one the Orioles were led in hitting by Sabrina Ramirez and Maddie Enbody, who each went 2-for-3. Mya Bryant had a hit and with two runs batted in.
Emma Eaton also had a hit with one RBI and Rylee Hardeburgh contributed an RBI. Sam Hanson had one hit and was hit by a pitch and Taesyah Hendricks also had a hit.
In the second game it was Enbody and Bryant each with a hit.
“We need to get aggressive in the batter’s box,” said Ludington head coach Maggie Bates. “Today we faced some pitchers that made us swing, and we just couldn’t execute.
“We saw some things we need to work on today, so we will definitely take that time this week.”
