HASTINGS–The Lady Sailors Track Team raced on Friday at the Hastings Invitational placing 6th of 10 teams.
Anabeth Hylland took first in both the 100 and 200 meter dash along with a 2nd place in the long jump.
Jayda Trigg won the ladies shot put and took 3rd in the Discus. Robyn Hunt took 3rd in the 1600 meter.
In total 12 athletes contributed to the team score. An excellent first meet for the ladies team.
Mona Shores will head to Houseman Field in Grand Rapids for an OK Green Quad Tuesday (this afternoon) against Zeeland East, Holland and the mighty Union Redhawks.
