LUDINGTON—The Montague Wildcats captured the West Michigan Conference golf jamboree championship on Thursday afternoon at Lakeside Links in Ludington by one shot over North Muskegon.

Montague finished a team score of 181 and North Muskegon came in at 182. Not far behind was Whitehall who was only three shots off the pace finishing with a 184.

Other team scores included: Hart (190) Oakridge (199) Shelby (206) Mason County Central (223) and Ravenna (226)

Jake Vanderwilk from Hart set the pace shooting a round of 37 to take top individual honors. He was followed by Logan Wolters of North Muskegon who finished second shooting a round of 41.

Other top ten individual scores included: Danny Flanagan, Montague (44) Kyren Bluhm, North Muskegon (44) Conner Raeth, Montague (45) Kevin Jager, Montague (45) Landon Griffin, Whitehall (45) Travis Lewis, Oakridge (45) Brady Tate, Whitehall (46) Brady Babcock, North Muskegon (46) and Jason Bogue, North Muskegon (46)
