WHITEHALL — Oakridge’s girls softball team swept a doubleheader with Whitehall on the road Thursday, 14-2 and 14-0.

Brooklyn Galdeen got the win in the circle for the Eagles in the first game, throwing five innings and allowing two runs on seven hits, while she struck out four and walked two.

Kaelinn Jozsa rapped two doubles and drove in two runs to lead the Eagles at the plate. Jasmine Pastor also had two doubles and one run batted in.

Delaney Ruel had two singles and three RBIs, Mallori Whipple had two singles and Ahria Doornbos smashed a bases loaded double in the sixth inning.

Whitehall was led in hitting by Hailey Carnes who had two singles while Illeana Hatcher had a home run.

In the second game, Jozsa was in the circle for the Eagles to start the game and went the first three innings, giving up just one hit and a walk and a wild pitch, while striking out two.

Kylee Willea threw the last two innings and did not give up a hit, struck out three and walked one.

Oakridge had an eight-run first inning on four singles and three doubles and finished the day with 23 hits.

Kyleigh Martin had a double for the Vikings.
