MUSKEGON— Oakridge lineman Ethan Jozsa has signed his national letter of intent to attend Hillsdale College next fall where he will continue his football career with the Chargers.

Jozsa was a three-year varsity, two-way lineman for Oakridge and Coach Cary Harger.

Ethan will be missed, by us, but not by our opponents,” Harger said. With his early frame and athleticism, we had to have him on the varsity. He continued to work hard and improve each year. He reluctantly accepted the leadership role as his teammates looked up to him as an impact player.

He hated doing the interviews as part of being a captain,” Harger said. “He would much rather play ball and win games and let someone do the interviews. Ethan still has a lot of hidden talent that I am sure his coaches at Hillsdale College will be looking forward to.”

Jozsa’s defensive career statistics for the Eagles included 14 tackles and one fumble recovery in 2019; 52 tackles, 5 sacks and three fumble recoveries in 2020 and 54 tackles, 5 sacks, 1 interception that he ran back 43 yards for a touchdown, 1 blocked kick and 1 safety in 2021.

Jozsa carries a 4.057 grade-point-average. Ethan is the son of Mark and Brooke Jozsa.
