KENT CITY — Kent City’s baseball team held a one-run lead until the bottom of the sixth inning, when Ravenna pushed across two runs to snare a 4-3 non-conference victory in Kent City on Thursday afternoon.

After spotting the Eagles a 2-0 lead in the top of the first, the Bulldogs scored a single run in the bottom half.

Each team scored a run in the third, and the Eagles carried a 3-2 lead into the sixth.

Collin Poley earned the victory on the hill for the Bulldogs, pitching all seven innings and allowed three runs on six hits while striking out one.

Ravenna was out-hit by the Eagles, 6-5. Thomas McCullough was 1-for-2 with one run batted in and a run scored. Brandon McFarren finished 1-for-3 with one RBI, Luke Meyers was 1-for-3 and Drew Mabrito was 1-for-1.
