RAVENNA — Ravenna’s girls softball team kept its record perfect at 6-0 in the West Michigan Conference and 14-0 overall with a doubleheader sweep over Whitehall, 8-1 and 12-3 on Tuesday afternoon.

Emma Gillard was the winning pitcher in Game 1, giving up the one run on just two hits, three walks and struck out six.

Leading hitters for the Bulldogs included Emma Herremans who was 3-for-3 with a home run and a double. Gillard was 2-for-4 with a triple, Maddie Kilbourney was 2-for-3 with a double while Kara Postema and Addison Gillard each had a hit.

Addison Gillard was in the circle for the Bulldogs in Game 2 and earned the win, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out three.

Liberty Willick led the Bulldogs at the plate going 3-for-4 with two doubles, Herremans was 3-for-5 with two doubles, Addison Gillard was 2-for-4 with a double, Kendra Denhof was 2-for-4 and Emma Gillard was 2-for-5 with a triple.

Kilbourne, Postema and Ellie Solem each had a hit.
