Sailor’s soccer team knocks off Grand Rapids Union 6-1

NORTON SHORES – The Mona Shores girls soccer team kicked off their O-K Green Conference season with a 6-1 rout over Grand Rapids Union on Tuesday evening.

Leading the way for the Sailors was Shay Norden, who posted a hat-trick on the night with three goals. Lauren Hylland, Mia Brown and Ali Trautner each added a goal apiece.

Mona Shores (1-1,1-0) will be back in league action on Thursday when they host Zeeland West.
