GRAND RAPIDS — Fruitport’s baseball team got to play just one game of Tuesday’s doubleheader with Grand Rapids West Catholic, losing it 13-4 on the road.

West Catholic broke the game open in the bottom of the fourth inning, scoring three runs to snap a 3-3 tie and never looked back from there.

Ryan Bosch and Hayden Harper each had two hits to lead the Trojans.

Game two was postponed because of the foul weather and has been re-scheduled for Thursday as part of a doubleheader at Fruitport.
