BIG RAPIDS—The Fremont boys are one step closer to claiming the CSAA Conference Championship. They still have a makeup meet at home on Wednesday before a conference champion can officially be crowned but they are well on there way after Monday’s performance at Big Rapids.

Fremont finished with a team high 178 points for a decisive win.

I am super proud of the way the boys ran. Going into a championship meet there is always a little concern with how the team will respond,” said Fremont coach Cliff Somers.

Fremont started out strong and finished strong winning both the first (4 x 800) and last (4 x 400) events.
