FREMONT—The Fremont girls track and field team had a great home track meet on Wednesday.

The girls continued to improve and perform above expectations. They defeated Newaygo and Tri-County to secure second place in the CSAA-Gold conference and tied with Central Montcalm.

Some of the results included:

Victoria Ekkel (So) 1st in 100 meter, 200 meter, and 4×100. 

Kennedy Christoffersen (Sr) 1st in 100 hurdles, 4×100 and long jump, 2nd in 100 meter 

Lauren O’Malley (So) 1st in 300 hurdles and 4×400 2nd in 100 hurdles

Adrianna Cushman (Fr) 1st in shot put

Maddy Ott (So) 1st in high jump

Olivia Stroven (Fr) 1st in pole vault and 4×400

Morgan Best (Jr) 1st in 4×400

Erica Maddox (Sr) 1st in 4×400, 2nd in high jump

Taava Johnson (Sr) 2nd in 800 and 2nd in 1600
