HOLLAND — It was not a good day for the Fremont girls softball team at the Holland Invitational on Saturday, as the Packers lost all three games, 10-0 to Wayland and 18-1 to Niles.

The third game was halted with the Packers working on a comeback against Holland Christian because of rain and lost 11-5.

All of Wayland’s runs were earned because the Packers didn’t make an error in the game.

Fremont managed just four hits in the loss to Niles, with Madeline Baden and Haley Zerlaut each knocking out two singles.

Baden also had two hits against Holland Christian, including a double. Laney Sipos, Sydney Dunbar, Rainee Dey-Rayl and Sophia Romine had one apiece.
