FREMONT – The Fremont girls soccer team cruised past Reed City with a 5-1 win on Monday evening.

The Packers took an early lead and never looked back. The only goal Fremont allowed was in the final three minutes of action.

Out in front for the Packers was Riley Chase who scored two goals. Mia Witte, Mia Clemens and Lili Isak also each added a score.

Macey Powers made nine saves in the net for the Packers.

Fremont (7-6, 5-3) will next visit the Shelby Tigers on Wednesday.
