SPRING LAKE –The Fruitport girls tennis team found themselves in some tight sets in their makeup match against Grand Rapids West Catholic on Monday.
The Trojans’ Hope Busscher took No. 1 singles by a score of 6-0, 6-1, while Grace Sweet finished at No. 2 singles with a score of 6-1, 6-0.
Falling short in three sets but playing well were Rachel Hines at No. 3 singles and Audra Peterson at No. 4 singles.
Fruitport will be back in action on Tuesday (today-weather permitting) as they host North Muskegon, Grant and Spring Lake for a double dual at Fruitport Middle School.
