HOLTON — Holton’s baseball team dropped a Central State Activities Conference doubleheader to White Cloud, 5-0 and 8-6 at home on Friday afternoon.

Steve Kersting pitched the opener and gave up five runs (one earned) and struck out two in 5 1/3 innings. Austin Fowler was used in relief and threw 1 2/3 innings and struck out three.

Fowler also had a double, while Rice Robins and Brodrick Fialek each went 1-for-3 and had two steals.

In the second game Kevin Erickson did the pitching and went 6 1/3 innings with five strike outs.

Erickson was 1-for-3 with one run batted in and two steals, Fowler was 1-for-3 with two RBI, Robins was 1-for-3 with one RBI and two steals and Gabe Colon was 1-for-3 with a double.
