Jessica Enigenburg scores six goals in Mona Shores lacrosse victory over Zeeland East

NORTON SHORES – The Mona Shores girls lacrosse team turned a slow start into a conference win against Zeeland East on Monday night.

Mona Shores took down the Chix with a score of 18-10.

The Sailors went down 6-2 in the first ten minutes of play, but quickly turned up the heat and sped past the Chix.

Jessica Enigenburg tied a Mona Shores school record with an incredible six-goal performance on the night.

Emma Reelman found the net with four goals, while Lainee Carmean posted a hat trick in her varsity debut. Allison Fritz and Reese Smith added two goals apiece.

Also contributing for the Sailors was Lauren Nelson with a lone goal.

Mona Shores is set to travel to Northview on Wednesday.
