PENTWATER — Pentwater’s girls softball team swept a Western Michigan D League doubleheader from Brethren, 15-0 and 19-1 on Tuesday afternoon.

Mikaylyn Kenney pitched both games for the Lady Falcons. In the first she threw a perfect game, striking out all nine batters she faced.

She also led the charge offensively, knocking out a double and a single. Crysta Cluchey contributed a double, while Mandi Sayles, Kenna Sayles, Maren Martinsen and Haley Powers each added singles.

In the second game Kenney also pitched three innings and struck out seven batters and allowed three hits.

She and Cluchey each had two singles on offense. Marissa Sayles, Haidyn Adams and Charlie Swanger each contributed singles.

The Lady Falcons improved to 17-3 overall and finished 8-2 in the WMD. Pentwater takes on White Cloud in the district tournament on Friday at 2 p.m.
