It wasn’t too hard for the Lady Eagles to defeat the small Holton Girls’ Track & Field Team on Wednesday afternoon as the Eagles ended up with 116 points to Holton’s 17 and are now 5-0 on the season.

Every Eagle scored in the victory. Hailey Kamphuis had a huge personal record PR in the long jump for the win as did Kylie Brown for the win in the 100. The following also enjoyed new personal best performances: Kaitlyn Swift (800 & 1600), Allison & Brianna Vargas (100 & 200), Kendall Veltkamp (long jump), Brookelyn Rogers (long jump), Katie Davis (shot put), and the winning 400-meter relay team of Kamphuis, Kozal, Brown, and Brancheau.

The Eagles won every event: 100–Brown, 200–Volkers, 400–Max, 800–Brown, 1600–Volkers, 3200–Linsley, 100 hurdles–Brancheau, 300 hurdles–Linsley, Shot put–Preston, Discus–DeVoogd, High Jump–Brancheau, Pole Vault–Freeland, and Long Jump–Kamphuis.

All four of the Eagle relay teams won too:
800–Sible, Solorio, Vargas, & Vargas
1600–Sible, Houtman, Veltkamp, Sullivan
3200–Esquivel, Swift, Sullivan, Volkers

The team will next compete at the Lake City Invitational on Friday and then will host their final home dual meet on Monday versus undefeated White Cloud. The meet starts at 4:00.
