LUDINGTON–Ludington High School announced that new varsity volleyball coach Elizabeth Holden will lead the Ludington High School program this fall.

Holden is a graduate of Montague High School, where she was named to the West Michigan All Conference (4 years) and All State (2 years) volleyball teams.

The former Montague Wildcat standout played volleyball for both Davenport and Lake Superior State University, in the Libero position.

Holden has been a registered volleyball official for 15 years.

According to Ludington athletic director Randy Fountain, Holden has coached at Inside Out and most recently in 2021 season she returned to Montague and coached the jayvee team.

Currently Holden is finishing up coaching the AAU 18U National team.

She is a district manager of Firehouse Subs and Yeti’z frozen yogurt.
