Mona Shores softball cruises in twinbill win over Muskegon Big Reds

The Mona Shores softball team made quick work of Muskegon on Tuesday with a pair of O-K Green wins. The Sailors topped the Big Reds 15-0 and 13-2.

Mona Shores was led in Game 1 by Avery Johnson, Kristen Hylland and Elizabeth Savacool with two hits apiece.

The Sailors racked up 12 hits in the nightcap as Magie McCarthy posted four hits. Liz Savacool and Abbie Critchett each had two hits.

Mia Geoghan and Hylland combined for the win pitching for Mona Shores.

The Sailors will head to Whitehall on Thursday for a non-league doubleheader.
