The Muskegon Risers women’s team hosted the Detroit Nationals FC on Friday for its home opener at Oakridge High School. 
The Risers fell 7-1 after falling behind 6-1 in the first half.
Kennedy Bearden scored the lone goal in the loss for Muskegon.
