MUSKEGON — Oakridge’s girls softball team continued its hot streak by sweeping a non-conference doubleheader from Zeeland West, 13-3 and 13-12 in a 10-inning affair at home Wednesday afternoon.

Brooklyn Galdeen scattered six hits and struck out four batters over six innings to pick up the win for the Eagles in the opener of the twin bill.

Jasmine Pastor swung a hot bat at the plate, crushing a home run and adding a double while driving in five runs to lead the Eagles. Ahria Doornbos had two singles and two RBI.

Galdeen helped her own cause with two doubles, while Brenna Cabrera contributed a pair of singles. The Eagles finished the game with 17 hits, with every player on the team getting at least one hit.

Kylee Willea stepped into the circle to pitch the second game for the Eagles and she threw all 10 innings, giving up 11 hits and striking out nine.

Galdeen produced a double, a single and had three RBI to lead the Eagles at the plate. Cabrera finished the game with two singles and two RBI.

Madison Clark contributed a double and a single with two RBI. Pastor clouted a home run for her eighth round-tripper of the season. Kaelin Jozsa had two doubles and a single. The Eagles finished with 13 hits for the game, giving them 30 for the doubleheader.

Oakridge improved to 19-1 overall.
