RAVENNA — Ravenna’s baseball team swept a non-conference doubleheader from White Cloud in two close games, 6-4 and 12-10 at home Thursday afternoon.

White Cloud scored three runs in the top of the fifth inning to make the game close after the Bulldogs had built a 6-1 lead after four in Game 1.

Collin Poley started the game on the hill for the Bulldogs and pitched 4 1/3 innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits with three walks and four strike outs.

Owen Scott gave up one run on one hit, while Wyatt Young pitched the final 2 2/3 innings and picked up the win in relief. He gave up one hit, walked two and struck out four.

Dayton Thomas was 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored and Drew Mabrito finished 2-for-3 as well. Thomas McCullough had one hit and two runs scored, Luke Meyers also had a base hit and two RBI while Hunter Hogan and Young also had base hits.

Tyler Bradtmueller picked up the win in relief, throwing 4 2/3 innings and allowing one run on one hit and striking out one. The Bulldogs used three pitchers.

McCullough led the Bulldogs offense with three hits in three at-bats with three RBI and three runs scored. Mabrito also had three hits in three trips with one RBI and two runs scored.

Thomas went 2-for-2 with four RBI and one run scored and Scott finished 2-for-4 with one run scored.

Meyers had one hit with one RBI and one run scored, Poley had one hit with one RBI, Blake Homoly had one hit and scored two runs.
