SPRING LAKE — Spring Lake’s girls softball team lost an OK Conference-Blue doubleheader to visiting Hudsonville Unity Christian at home Wednesday, 14-0 and 11-5.

In the first game the Lakers managed four hits, with Alexa Carter going 1-for-2 with a walk. Avery Flynn took the loss in the pitcher’s circle.

In the nigthcap Carter went 3-for-4 at the plate with a three-run home run to lead the Lakers. Kennedy Young finished 2-for-3.

Spring Lake is now 10-4 overall and 4-4 in the conference.
