The Division 4 boys track and field state finals at Hudsonville High School took place on Saturday with several area schools placing individuals across the finish line in the Top 10.

White Cloud’s Joel Bradley and Jace Silverthorn had strong field performances to lead the Indians to a 16th place finish behind state champion Kalamazoo Hacket.

Bradley took fourth place in the shot put event with a push of 48-00, while taking fifth in the discus event with a 142-04 throw.

Silverthorn finished fifth in the shut put with a 47-07 push and tok 10th in discus with a 126-11 throw.

Fruitport Calvary Christian freshman, Bradley Richards, showed signs he will be contender the high-jump event for years to come. Richards took fifth overall with a 6-01 jump for the Eagles.

Mason County Eastern was led by its 3200 relay team with a seventh place-finish. Alex Tyndall, Eli Shoup, Nathan Wing and Dakota Matzen turned in a 8:33.48 time.

Hunter James led Holton in the 110 hurdles event with an eighth-place finish. James turned in a time of 16.90.
